Mark and Jane (with sock in progress) in the queue for the Last Night of the Proms. Both very full of wine, which included red wine, white wine, and fizzy wine of all shades (red, white and pink). Note union flag rolled up on balustrade, and wine bottle. I'm in ferrrock #1, and those aren't pearls, it's actually a rather nice scarf slung round my neck (since seen on a chav in Hastings, who looked most put out as I clanged round the shop while wearing morris bells). I'm not sure what Mark's bow tie is from, I shall have to ask.

So does that mean you're classy and trying to imitate chav - or was the person in Hastings chav trying to impersonate classy ? It's so difficult to tell with fashion these days.

Does everyone in your country knit? I learned the basic knit and purl stuff when I was tiny. Cables are do-able for me. I made a sweater once but gave away the pieces because I got intimidated when it was time to put them together so I never saw the final results.
