Stolen from Ansha_grrl And also because, lovely though the weekend was, I'm finding it hard to be coherent without prompting.
1) How old do you wish you were?
26: I don't like odd years.
2) Where were you when 9/11 happened?
Working in a grotty summer job in a finance sub-department of Norwich Union. Our shares plummeted, and everyone was convinced they'd be sacked. Only place I know that used a proper clocking-on-clocking-off system.
3) What do you do when vending machines steal your money?
Shrug.
4) Do you consider yourself kind?
Mostly: occasionally I am a complete cat. Depends on how stressed I am. I find it hard to be firm and kind simultaneously.
5) If you had to get a tattoo, where would it be?
I wouldn't. I so wouldn't.
6) If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be?
Afrikaans. Because I find it difficult to learn.
7) Do you know your neighbors?
Downstairs, yes, and also Old Tom next door. But other than that, no. Mind you, Downstairs (having hacked the cherry tree to bejabers - there will be a photo when I find the cord for the camera), are in the process of moving out. They also annoy me immensely.
8) What do you consider a vacation?
Not checking the work email.
9) Do you follow your horoscope?
Well, I read it... but it's not like the be-all and end-all of life. I think there's something appealing in the idea of knowing what the future holds.
10) Would you move for the person you loved?
Indubitably. I could work from anywhere.
11) Are you touchy feely?
Once I'm done being shy, oh yes.
12) Do you believe that opposites attract?
Yes: and also that you can be attracted to the opposite of the previous person you were attracted to, even if they aren't necessarily the same as you...
13) Dream job?
Knitting and spodding.
14) Favorite channel(s)?
BBC
15) Favorite place to go on weekends?
Liberty.
16) Showers or Baths?
Baths. I love them. Showers for hairwashing, though.
17) Do you paint your nails?
Sporadically. I would have french manicured my nails by now, but I can't find the pale nail varnish and can't face going out to look for a replacement. Happy in bed for the time being.
18) Do you trust people easily?
Surprisingly, yes, I do. I can't help myself, and it doesn't matter how much I've been bitten. That said, there are only certain people I will trust easily. When I do trust, it is absolutely.
19) What are your phobias?
The unexpected.
20) Do you want kids?
Yes
21) Do you keep a handwritten journal?
Occasionally.
22) Where would you rather be right now?
I don't think I'd mind, as long as my face didn't ache.
23) Who makes you feel warm and fuzzy?
Dare I say the Barrister, who has just instructed me to GET BETTER, stay in bed and leave the website alone.... Lewi has a similar sort of effect: I will do most anything for both of them. And they are both excellent cheerleaders for me. Synergy.
24) Heavy or light sleeper?
It varies. For the past two nights, I've been insomnia central. Meanwhile, at Towersey, I missed an entire cooked breakfast, plus coffee, with all attendent smells, and several attempts to wake me, because I was asleep. Earplugs tend to make me sleep heavier.
25) Are you paranoid?
Totally.
26) Are you impatient?
Yes. I want everyone else to work as quickly as I do. And man, do I work quick.
27) Who can you relate to?
People who don't quite fit.
28) How do you feel about interracial couples?
(odd sort of question for this sort of thing). I don't have any problems (did the person who first wrote this questionnaire think we were auditioning for the KKK?).
29) Have you been burned by love?
Yes, and I still blunder in blindly.
30) What's your favorite pick-up line?
I flutter my motorised eyelashes...
31) What's your main ring tone on your mobile?
Bach, Air on a G String. I love it on many, many levels.
32) What were you doing at midnight last night?
Failing to sleep, I suspect.
33) What did the last text on your cellphone say?
Surely a fur bikini would be ample? I am available for punting on Friday.
34) Whose bed did you sleep in last night?
It belongs to whomever I have rented this place from. It has four pillows, a duvet, is all done in white cotton, and is supremely comfy.
35) What color shirt are you wearing?
I'm still in my PJs (grey top, pink and grey plaid bottoms).
36) Most recent movie you watched?
The Lady in the Water. It was excellent.
37) Name three things you have on you at all times?
Cross, belly button ring, glasses/contacts.

40) What is your favorite part of the chicken?
Breast.
41) What's your favorite town/city?

43) Who got you to join Xanga?
Tig.
44) What did you have for dinner last night?
Chicken soup, half a packet of hula hoops and an apple. I'm ill, 'kay?

5' 4.5" to 5' 5", depending on time of day.
47) Do you own a gun?
Hell, no.
48) What do you prefer to drink in the morning?
Coffee. By the pint.
49) What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite sex?
My smile
50) Where do you think you'll be in 10 yrs?
Hopefully rather more settled than I am now.
51) Last thing you ate?
The other half of the packet of hula hoops. With some chicken soup. I'm working up to an apple. I'm not that hungry (and, having lost some weight with all the dancing I did at the weekend, I'm now losing some more... why I find it so hard to manage my weight, I know not: but at least I'd gained back what I lost during the last stressful period before I got going on this section of weight loss).
52) What songs do you sing in the shower?
Songs from musicals.
53) Last thing that made you laugh?
The email from the Dishy Barrister.
54) Worst injury you've ever had?
That chipped metatarsal. Plus the odd nasty cut to my finger tips.
55) Does someone have a crush on you?
Quite probably...
56) What's your favorite candy?
Chocolate. I also like fizzy sweets and jelly babies.
57) What song do you want played at your funeral?
