Sitting at my desk, when Clancy emailed me a lovely picture of his orbital blowout fracture. He wanted to know if ice would help. Of course it will. Particularly in a bourbon.

Does “bourbon” mean Bourbon whiskey, or is it an idiom for something else?
RYC: I was being respectful. I’ve been told that you should only spell Scotch without the “e”–all other whisky is “whiskey,” including American bourbon.
