    Sixes

The new Brownie Sixes: Pixie, Leprechaun (can’t spell that) and Imp on the top, and you can all tell what’s on the bottom.  The Elf part of the Impemelf six has not yet arrived/been bought, but it’s blue.  And has some sort of silly hat.

Brownies can be ‘Mystical Creatures’ or ‘Woodland Animals’.  We used to have Rabbits, Moles, Squirrels and Foxes.  I always thought the Foxes and the Squirrels looked a bit identical.  However.

    K-9

This is a very shy, but pleased, smile, and a rather wonderful model of K-9.  I cropped her eyes out, so you can’t tell exactly who she is (I feel like I’m pandering to the populace who muddle up paediatricians with paedophiles here).  Anyhow. She’s a little gem, and one of my youngest.

    Rouge Noir

These are my rouge noir toes.  I bought the bottle of nail varnish about four years ago, and it’s still going.  My feet are fresh out of the bath, so lovely and clean, and a bit wrinkly.  Yes.  My little toenail is that small.  It’s almost-not-quite-there.

I got a little inspired by Irises on the way home from work.  Ican’t remember which night, but it was later than normal, and I took the oddest route home, through the middle of Queen Mary’s Gardens, rather than skirting about the playing fields.

    Chaos and Destruction

Finally, the chaos, panic, and destruction that was my sitting room at about 4pm today.  I have since got it all into boxes, or bags, and safely stowed in the space between the tv and the chair.  There are eight plastic crates, two buckets, three big plastic bags, a metal tin, and, oh, I’ll take another photo.

     Order

Far easier to just show you.  It’s impressive.  You can even see the knitting bag on the table now, and the newspapers aren’t threatening to take over themselves.  It’s by no means as tidy as I’d like at this point (there’s a tiara balanced precariously on a plastic glass on the table out of shot, as it’s got jewels stuck to it, and the glue needs to dry before packing).  It is, however, not something I’m getting the screaming hab dabs about.  If it weren’t for the lateness of the hour, I might just sit down and relax.

  • Congratulations

The suitcase of d00m contains 140 static multi lights, 150 static clear (with stars) lights and 80 multi chaser lights; moulinex, handheld kenwood and hand-turned whisk…things are getting chucked in as I remember them.

    Pretty irises!

  • Those badges are so cute!

  • Ooh – yeah – pictures!  We love picture posts.  Looks like a lot of fun.  I love irises.  They’re purply goodness in springtime.  What could be better?

  • blimey  – i couldn’t live like that.  not in my living room.  i can live like that in my spare room.  and the computer room.  i suspect that your living room isn’t always like that though and is usually very much uncluttered.  unlike my spare room.  and my computer room.

  • @Katiefinger - Usually it isn’t that cluttered.  That’s all stuff for Pack Holiday, that is.  Argh.  Gah. Etck.  The living room also functions as office at home, dining room, and drying room.  It’s only a little flat!  The current batch of washing isn’t quite dry, but will have to be put away before Mum arrives tomorrow night (hoping it will be totally dry by then).  There’s generally a pile of paperwork in progress on the table, but that’s about it.

  • @Katiefinger - p.s. piles of newspaper everywhere are my flatmate, not me.  She is very untidy, but revising for medical finals, so entirely forgiven. ~x~
