Socks for me (nearly done, but not quite…this is where they were at Detroit airport – there is a whole sock more than this now).  Regia something-or-other that was a present.

    And, there’s more to come…

  • did you make the sushi, too?

  • i love it. Your socks eat sushi though? thats AMAZING

  • The completed socks look great!  The booties are cute, as well.  Not sure about the sushi–my first sushi experience was on JAL and not good.

  • Shawl is very cute.  Thumbs up to the sushi too!  Looks like salmon, avocado, and cucumber topped with roe?

  • Ooh – I love picture posts. (That makes it sounds like I can’t read). Love all the knitting. The green thingy picture looks quite relaxed. Sushi looks yummy. I bet those booties are going to be adorable on the baby.

    : )

  • Ooh, the pattern on the top of the socks looks wonderful (but complicated to knit!).

I really ought to have a go at making my own sushi. I’ve done it at someone elses house before, and I know where there’s a nice Korean shop that sells the rice and seaweed.

  • Your socks are beautiful, those booties just may be my favorite color in the whole world, but I’m fascinated by your “green shawl thingie!”

Tell us about the yarn used in the projects, especially the booties and the multicolored sock, and I’d love to see a better photo of the shawl thingie, or something that points me toward a pattern. I can’t tell how it’s actually made in the photo.

    They’re great projects!

  • :) Waiting to see the Welshman’s socks. I loved that blue.

  • @lostarts - The shawl’s a Maggi Knits Kit – the details are on my ravelry (hollyberry79): alas, that’s the only photo I have.  I’ll try to get another. Will edit post…

@RizzlGrizzl - The nice people at Detroit airport made it, and golly gee, it was good. Fresh sushi.  Yum.

@X_naomi_X - All my socks are amazing

@cDave - It’s mostly knits and purls, and then this really nifty thing called Vikkel Braid to get the stitches that look like they’re going sideways.

  • I’m sorry but I have this urge to reach into your photo and straighten the pictures on your wall!  Love the booties .
